Sergey Aksyonov presented awards to Crimean residents in connection with the Constitution Day of the Republic of Crimea

The Head of the Republic of Crimea, at a gala event dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Crimea, presented well-deserved awards to Crimeans who work for the benefit of the republic. Sergey Aksyonov congratulated everyone present at the event on the holiday and recalled the events of the Crimean Spring, thanks to which Crimea returned to its historical homeland.

The events that preceded the memorable referendum in 2014 became the most significant in life for all of us. Then we felt an incredible surge of strength and drive, because we knew that we were returning home to Russia. Of course, all this happened thanks to the will of the Crimeans and with the full support of our President– the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.

The head of the republic noted that it is in the Constitution of the Republic of Crimea, the main legal document of the republic, that the values for which Crimeans fought in 2014 are enshrined.

Our Constitution became the basis that consolidated all important integration processes, so all these years we have confidently moved forward together, building a new Crimea. But there are still many challenges ahead that we have to solve. I am confident that we will cope with each of them with honor.– emphasizes the Head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov also thanked the Crimeans for consolidating around the President and his decisions and for supporting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Then Sergey Aksyonov presented state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea: the Order of “Parental Glory”, Letters of Gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation, Order “For Loyalty to Duty”, Medal “For Defense of the Republic of Crimea”, Certificates of Honor of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Letters of Gratitude from the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Distinctive insignia “Watch from the Head of the Republic of Crimea”.
