Sergey Aksyonov: “Problematic issues of municipalities remain under constant control”

The Head of the Republic of Crimea held a meeting on problematic issues of municipalities in the Republic of Crimea. Opening the event, Sergey Aksyonov noted that the practice of holding weekly working meetings on issues related to cleaning and sanitation in populated areas, landscaping and pruning of dead wood, maintenance of apartment buildings and adjacent areas, organization of street lighting and public transport is being resumed.
All issues remain under control. Goals and objectives, as well as deadlines for completing assignments, do not change. At the end of the year, we will sum up the results and determine the effectiveness of the work of managers at all levels. System errors and shortcomings should become a thing of the past. Let me remind you that the successful completion of tasks primarily depends on the motivation and personal participation of officials in the process, on constant contact with citizens, – notes the Head of the Republic.
Sergei Aksyonov criticized the work of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea and municipal authorities in connection with numerous complaints from Crimeans about the organization of public transport. The main reason is the lack of systematic work and weak control of the activities of carriers on the part of deputy heads of administrations responsible for this area. The head of Crimea instructed the leadership of the Ministry of Transport to intensify interaction with municipalities and determine ways to solve the problem as soon as possible.
Sergei Aksyonov focused on the fact that this year there are no objective reasons for the lag behind the schedule of work during the construction and repair of facilities.
This year, in terms of construction progress, the weather conditions were favorable, and everyone had the opportunity to make the necessary management decisions. There are three working months left until the end of the year. Anyone who fails to complete the work on time will first of all let down the residents of Crimeasaid the Head of the Republic.
Also during the meeting, the issues of readiness of social facilities and apartment buildings for the heating season, the progress of final work on the improvement of public and courtyard areas, and the implementation of protocol instructions were separately considered.
In conclusion, Sergei Aksyonov informed that the practice of visiting the regions to monitor the activities of municipal administrations will continue.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk, deputy prime ministers and ministers of the Government of the Republic of Crimea, heads of municipal administrations.
