Sergey Aksyonov: residents of twenty villages in the Belogorsk region will be provided with clean drinking water
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In total, residents of 20 settlements in the region face problems related to water supply.
According to the Head of the Republic, a major overhaul of a 1.5-kilometer water pipeline in the village of Michurinskoye is currently underway, a water tower of the Rozhnovsky system for 25 cubic meters of water has already been installed, and a new well is being drilled in the process.
In the village of Novoklenovo, a connection was made to the water supply system to supply water to the Zelenogorsk rural settlement. Construction of water pipelines is also underway, and a modular pumping station has been installed.
In the village of Rusakovka, the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Water of Crimea” is laying pipelines using economic methods. A 6-kilometer-long water pipeline is also being laid and a water tower is being installed in the village of Ulyanovka.
Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that the announced measures are fully funded, and all work must be completed before June 1, 2025.
In addition, the Head of Crimea said that a decision had been made based on a complaint from residents of the rural settlements of Crimean Rose and Zuya about poor-quality drinking water.
A water treatment plant will be launched. I ask the leadership of the administration of the Belogorsky district and “Water of Crimea” to join forces to complete the work before the New Year. We must try to provide residents of these most densely populated settlements in the area with clean water as quickly as possible, – the Head of the Republic set the task.
In addition, Sergei Aksyonov said that the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Crimea, together with the district administration, continues to explore the possibilities of organizing uninterrupted water supply in Bogatovsky, Zemlyanichnensky and Kursky rural settlements. One of the priority options remains the construction of a water pipeline and a pumping station, which will allow the use of reserves of the Gorlinsky reservoir.
According to preliminary calculations, the cost of the work could be about 500 million rubles. Experts are still checking the action plan and the resources we will need. All calculations for the project must be updated within a week— the Head of Crimea gave instructions to the district administration.
It is noted that water is currently supplied to the Kursk rural settlement once every 4 days, and a search for the aquifer in the Bogatovskoye settlement showed the presence of process water with a high ammonia content. Sergei Aksyonov instructed to study the possibilities of water purification for watering gardens.
It is also planned to drill new wells in the villages of Vishenny, Novozhilovka and Turgenevo.
Separately, Sergei Aksyonov informed about a joint project with the federal center for the integrated development of the territory in the village of Privetnoye, Alushta urban district, within the framework of which a proposal for laying a water pipeline from the Belogorsk reservoir is being developed. This infrastructure project will, among other things, provide water to a number of villages in the Belogorsk region.
The event was attended by the Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Crimea Zakhar Shcheglenko, the General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Water of Crimea” Maxim Novik, the head of the administration of the Belogorsky district Dmitry Chumakov, and others.
