Sergey Aksyonov: Rospotrebnadzor in Crimea has built a systematic work

The Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov held a working meeting with the head of the Interregional Office of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing in the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol — the chief state sanitary doctor for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Natalia Penkovskaya.
During the event, the results of the department’s activities for 2023 were discussed, as well as the most pressing issues for the republic in the field of sanitary and epidemiological supervision, including the progress of the health campaign and the resort season in general.
Sergei Aksyonov noted that the republic’s authorities, together with the Interregional Office of Rospotrebnadzor, have built a systematic work system, thanks to which a stable sanitary and epidemiological situation has been maintained in the republic.

In addition, Natalya Penkovskaya reported that despite the situation that developed in Greater Yalta as a result of the accident on the sewer collector, the percentage of non-standard water samples on the coast does not exceed the average long-term indicators and reaches approximately 1%.
At the same time, monitoring of the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Feodosia is being carried out.
In the emergency situation with the sewer collector in Feodosia, we are also carrying out a set of necessary measures. Beaches within the city are temporarily closed until the end of repair work and obtaining standard indicators of sea water quality– informed the head of the Interregional Office of Rospotrebnadzor.
The department also continues to monitor the incidence of intestinal infections, which currently remains within the long-term average.
