Sergey Aksyonov: “Rural schools should not differ from urban schools in terms of technical equipment and equipment”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Head of the Republic of Crimea took part in an extended meeting of the board of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea.
According to Sergei Aksenov, education remains the main focus of government activities. “Today, given the new challenges of the time, giving children a fixed set of knowledge and skills is no longer enough. Teachers and all of us are faced with the task of raising caring, true citizens of their country, who have a sense of personal responsibility and are capable of solving any problems. It is very important in this context to develop the education system in accordance with the conditions of a rapidly changing world– the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.
Sergei Aksyonov called on the leadership of educational institutions at all levels and teachers to give direct recommendations to government officials: “It is you who communicate with children every day. You understand what needs to be done so that in the end the guys are ready for difficulties, know how to solve problems, so that everyone has the opportunity to prove themselves and achieve high results. I ask you to offer effective methods, development programs and strategies that we can and should implement to help our youth grow as individuals.”
In addition, the Head of Crimea set the task of determining the priority of work in all educational organizations in need of repair.
We are primarily talking about schools. Now we do not have the opportunity to carry out major repairs in every institution, but we need to identify bottlenecks. It is mandatory that all schools have windows replaced, heating installed, roofs, canteens, sports and assembly halls repaired, – the Head of the Republic listed.
At the same time, rural schools should not differ from urban schools in terms of technical equipment and equipment.
We can buy computers, interactive whiteboards and other equipment everywhere. All children should have access to modern teaching methods and approaches, to information in general– emphasizes the Head of Crimea.
Sergey Aksyonov also focused on the importance of introducing the practice of distributing graduates of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions.
Unfortunately, quite often young people do not go to work in their profession after graduation. I consider it unacceptable to waste budget funds, especially at the present time. If a person comes to study at the expense of the state, he must work in his field for some time. First of all, of course, this concerns medicine— said the Head of the Republic and instructed the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea to prepare a corresponding proposal to the federal ministry.
The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea Valentina Lavrik presented a report on the current tasks of the education sector in the republic and plans for the future. During the event, issues of providing educational institutions with educational materials, equipping medical offices and catering units, and further development of secondary vocational education were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya, directors and teachers of preschool and general education organizations, and others.
