Sergey Aksyonov: street lighting should be organized in all municipalities of the Republic of Crimea in 2024

The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a staff meeting, during which the results of 2023 and work plans for 2024, as well as a number of other issues, were discussed. Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk said that by the end of the year it is necessary to restore about 970 km of street lighting lines in municipalities. The work will be carried out at the expense of local budgets.
In addition, it is planned to build 640 km of new power grids. Sergei Aksyonov clarified that about 600 million rubles are allocated for these tasks. “The organization of street lighting is a priority task, since this is also a matter of ensuring the safety of our citizens. This work must be completely completed this year.– the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.
Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko informed that budget revenues of the Republic of Crimea in 2023 amounted to more than 76 billion rubles. In all municipalities, revenue plans have been exceeded.
Also, according to Irina Kiviko, republican budget expenditures amounted to 297.2 billion rubles, which is 99.3% of the planned amount. All consolidated budgets of the municipalities of the republic are 99.2% fulfilled.
Sergei Aksyonov said that in the near future the results of work to increase the revenue side of municipal budgets will be summed up.
Revenues received in excess of those approved by the budget law must be distributed and directed to the implementation of priority activities. Municipalities also had to complete the registration of land plotsnotes the Head of the Republic.
According to Irina Kiviko, in 2024, 390 million rubles from the republican budget and 155 million rubles from the federal budget were allocated for social payments to citizens.
Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Svetlana Maslova reported that 3.2 billion rubles have been allocated for the improvement of territories in municipalities in 2024. In total, it is planned to improve 1,372 areas, including 38 public areas, 98 courtyards and adjacent areas. In addition, 1,159 containers and 75 playgrounds will be installed.
On behalf of Sergei Aksenov, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea must strengthen efforts to provide all medical institutions of the republic with personnel, especially specialists of a narrow profile.
During the meeting, Sergei Aksyonov also recalled that heads of administrations and other officials should have open messages and comments on social media pages so that Crimeans could report their problem directly to the leader who is responsible for a specific municipality or area of work.

The progress of work on paying compensation to citizens affected by the disaster, restoration of the republic’s infrastructure, and other issues were also discussed.
