Sergey Aksyonov: “Ten years ago, Crimeans became pioneers of a new era”

Congratulations from the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov on the Day of Reunification of Crimea with Russia.

Ten years ago, Crimeans became pioneers of a new era, the starting point of which was March 18, 2014. The reunification of Crimea with Russia opened the way to the restoration of historical justice and unity of the Russian world, to the return of the ancestral Russian lands.

But great events are impossible without great personalities. The Crimean dream came true thanks to the decisions of our President. He saved us from war and genocide. He constantly kept his finger on the pulse of the changes taking place in Russian Crimea. This is the key factor in all successes.

The past years have become a decade of development and freedom, unity and harmony for the peninsula. But these were also years of testing, struggle and overcoming.

Today, this struggle continues both on the fronts of the Northern Military District, where many Crimeans are fighting, and in the rear, where helping our soldiers has become a national cause.
