Sergey Aksyonov: The Constitution is an expression of the centuries-old experience of Russian statehood

CrimeaPRESS reports:

And traditional values.

Congratulations from the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov on the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation.

I am glad to congratulate everyone on the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation!

The Basic Law was adopted exactly 30 years ago, at a popular vote.

The Constitution is the legal foundation of the country’s sovereignty and development, the basis of public harmony, a concentrated expression of the centuries-old experience of Russian statehood and our traditional values.

Over the course of three decades, Russia has come a long way, been revived, and expanded in territory. These changes were reflected in the Basic Law. It consolidates the results of the expression of will of the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol, the DPR and LPR, the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as the All-Russian vote to approve amendments to the Constitution.

Today, the words of the preamble of the Constitution resonate in a special way: “…honoring the memory of our ancestors who conveyed to us love and respect for the Fatherland, faith in goodness and justice…” This is what is the spiritual basis of the existence of Russia, for which our soldiers fight.

I wish everyone health, prosperity and new successes in their work for the benefit of the Motherland!
