Sergey Aksyonov: “The implementation of many space exploration projects is connected with Crimea”

This short quote from a poem by Konstantin Simonov encapsulates the story of the Russian space miracle.

We are proud that Crimea is also part of this history.

That the implementation of many projects is connected with our peninsula — from controlling the first spacecraft and interplanetary vehicles to testing lunar rovers.

That among the space explorers there are also our fellow countrymen. These are Simferopol resident Oleg Kotov, native of the Kirovsky district Vasily Tsibliev, Sevastopol resident Anton Shkaplerov.
