Congratulations from the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov on the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers.
Today is Agricultural and Processing Industry Worker’s Day. This is a holiday of workers who ensure food security in Crimea and Russia. One of the key factors in the development of the industry is large-scale government support. From 2014 to 2022, more than 20 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes. In 2023, the volume of financing will amount to over three billion rubles.
Today, the Republic of Crimea has achieved self-sufficiency in the production of food wheat, bread and grain products, poultry meat, and fruits. Based on the results of last year’s harvest, self-sufficiency in vegetables averaged more than 80%, and for a number of items in the vegetable group, production volumes exceeded regional needs. The area of new vineyards and orchards is growing, and the production of food and beverages has increased.
All this is the result of the selfless work of our farmers. I wish everyone health, prosperity and new success in all directions!
