Sergey Aksyonov: “Today many fathers protect the future of their families, Russia and the whole world”

Dad. One of the very first and most important words.

The father is the breadwinner and protector of the family, a reliable friend and adviser.

A loving dad, through his personal example, instills in children such qualities as responsibility, hard work and patience, respect for elders and caring attitude towards women, love for the Motherland and readiness to defend their country.

I know this from my own experience. I am proud of my father and thank him for everything he has done for me.

Father’s Day, which we celebrate on the third Sunday in October, is one of the youngest holidays with a very deep, eternal meaning. The father figure plays a colossal role in the culture, values, traditions and mentality of our people. Suffice it to say that the main Christian prayer begins with an appeal to God as the Father: “Our Father…”

Today, many fathers defend our Fatherland with arms in hand, defend the future of all Russian families, the future of Russia and the whole world. Let us wish them and all fathers good health, prosperity, all families happiness and love, and all of us a speedy Victory! — says the congratulations from the Head of the Republic.
