Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that, like for the Crimeans nine years ago, this event will become a new stage, a reason for pride both for the young Cossacks and Kherson residents themselves, and for their parents.

Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo also noted the significance of the day and the rally for those who joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
