Sergey Aksyonov took part in sending conscripts from the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to the ranks of the Russian Army
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, together with the Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo and the Governor of the Zaporozhye region Evgeniy Balitsky took part in a rally dedicated to the ceremonial departure of conscripts to their places of military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Welcoming the recruits, the Head of Crimea emphasized that today is a significant day for every young man. “On the path of life, you have reached another stage in your formation, self-realization and self-development. Serving your country is a great honor, and protecting the Motherland is a sacred duty for every man, every citizen, — The press service quotes the Head of the Republic.
Sergei Aksyonov expressed confidence that the time spent in military service will be useful for all conscripts.
In a team, character is forged, personality is formed. After completing service, a person perceives life values differently and realizes the importance of friendship and camaraderie. Essentially, this is a school of life. In addition, conscripts carry out tasks assigned by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to strengthen the state’s defense in the rear. This is very valuable for soldiers fighting on the front line.– notes the Head of Crimea.
For recruits from the fraternal regions, the sending ceremony is of particular significance, since it was the first in the history of the Russian Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that, like for the Crimeans nine years ago, this event will become a new stage, a reason for pride both for the young Cossacks and Kherson residents themselves, and for their parents.
Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo also noted the significance of the day and the rally for those who joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to Vladimir Saldo, the months that Kherson residents will spend in the ranks of the Russian army will strengthen them physically and morally, help them find true friends and comrades, and teach them to believe in themselves and their strengths.
According to the Governor of the Zaporozhye region, Evgeny Balitsky, serving in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is a high honor that not everyone gets. Evgeniy Balitsky wished the conscripts to preserve the glorious traditions of their ancestors and thanked the Cossacks for their choice.
The recruits were also seen off by Senator from the Republic of Crimea, Hero of Russia Yuri Nimchenko.
Military service is not only a sacred duty, but also an opportunity to become strong, smarter and more successful. Yes, it is not easy, but it will definitely bear fruit. The fact that today our brothers from the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions joined the Crimeans makes this day truly special. For so many years we lived apart from each other, and now we are finally united again, as in all historical times, – concluded the Hero of Russia.
