Sergey Aksyonov visited cultural sites in Alupka

The Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, together with the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova, the Chairman of the Board of PJSC Sberbank of Russia German Gref and Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea visited the Church of the Holy Archangel Michael in the city of Alupka, where the territory was reconstructed.
We also inspected the historical center of the city, where tourist attractions were recently improved, and visited the city history museum and the Alupka Palace and Park Museum-Reserve.
Sergey Aksyonov thanked Bishop Tikhon and German Gref for their attention and support of historical sites. «Thank you for the systematic work aimed at preserving and developing cultural and spiritual values, implementing large-scale cultural projects,» the Head of Crimea noted.

In 2022, the city of Alupka won the All-Russian competition for the best projects of the city center tourist code within the framework of the national project «Tourism and Hospitality Industry». The Government of the Russian Federation allocated more than 250 million rubles for the implementation of improvements in 2023-2024.
