The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, during a working trip to the urban district of Yevpatoria, assessed the quality of its sanitary cleaning and cleaning, the level of improvement, and the organization of street lighting.
Sergei Aksyonov noted the unsatisfactory condition of the entrance area to the city and ordered to put this area in order, including landscaping and filling the roadsides in accordance with the standards.
The Head of the Republic emphasized the need for compensatory landscaping throughout Evpatoria. According to Sergei Aksenov, there should be no vacant lots and open ground within the city limits.
There cannot be priority streets for planting green spaces; they are all equally important for Evpatorians. The planting of trees and lawns, as well as the cutting of dead wood, should be equally organized everywhere— added the Head of Crimea and gave instructions to calculate the required number of workers for the systematic maintenance of the city’s territories.
According to information from the deputy head of administration — head of the urban services department of the city administration of Yevpatoria, Alexei Kalistratov, there are a total of 384 streets in Yevpatoria and the settlements that are part of the city district. Alexey Kalistratov said that by April 15 it is planned to carry out sanitary pruning of trees and shrubs on 135 of them.
Sergey Aksyonov paid special attention to the topic of pothole repair of road surfaces. According to the city administration, it is planned to renovate 30 thousand square meters. meters of potholes, bumps and other road defects. In general, pothole repair is required on 150 thousand square meters. meters, experts estimate this work at approximately 200 million rubles. According to the Head of the Republic, the cost is unreasonably inflated and ordered a recalculation.
The issue of pothole repair of courtyard driveways of apartment buildings was also raised. According to preliminary estimates, this may require about 150 million rubles. In addition, work is currently underway in Yevpatoria to improve 10 courtyard areas within the framework of the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. The contractor undertakes to deliver the finished objects by August 1.
During his working trip, Sergei Aksyonov inspected the roads in the Sputnik-2 microdistrict, where grading is planned to begin in the second ten days of April. On April 1, work began in the Sputnik-1 microdistrict.
In addition, the Head of Crimea gave instructions to install lamps on existing street lighting poles within a month. Currently, more than 280 streets in the city district are illuminated.
Summing up the results of the working trip, Sergei Aksenov emphasized the importance of the city administration’s work directly on the ground to promptly resolve emerging issues and control all processes.
There are improvements in the city, the situation is stabilizing, although there is still a lot of work to be done. I am confident, however, that within a week we will reach the finish line for each type of work together with the city administration, and we will determine the timing and quality, said Aksyonov. – It is necessary to make Evpatoria more attractive for both local residents and tourists. The city must be clean and tidy so that people want to come back here.
