Sergey Karjakin held a simultaneous chess session in Yalta

The guys met with the Russian chess player, grandmaster, world champion in rapid chess, world champion in blitz, two-time winner of the world team championship as part of the Russian national team Sergey Aleksandrovich Karyakin at the Avangard stadium. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the municipality — Chairman of the Yalta City Council Konstantin Shimanovsky and the head of the Yalta administration Yanina Pavlenko. The leaders discussed with the famous athlete the prospects for the development of chess in Yalta, as well as the possibility of opening a school named after Karyakin in our city. The grandmaster also played with our star Marina Kamenskaya.
