Sevastopol advertising structure placement scheme will include 350 places
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Government of Sevastopol, at a meeting chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, made changes to the layout of advertising structures. The draft resolution was presented by the director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning Maxim Zhukalov.
In the five years that have passed since the approval of the current version of the scheme, a number of large-scale infrastructure projects have been implemented in Sevastopol. For example, the construction of the Tavrida highway, the reconstruction of the Kamyshovoye Highway, the bridge across the dry land on Gagarin Avenue, the reconstruction of the interchange in the area of the 5th kilometer of the Balaklava Highway, the overhaul of Otradnaya Street. Therefore, a significant part of the places no longer meet the requirements of regulatory and technical documents in the field of road safety , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning Maxim Zhukalov.
The introduction of changes made it possible to correct one part of the existing installation sites for advertising structures, and to replace the other with new ones. The project contains a register of installation sites for advertising structures, technical specifications and a map showing their location.
Scheme is updated in two stages. To date, within the first stage, 110 places are provided for the installation of advertising structures. Of these, 62 billboard-type structures, 47 — city-light, 1 — city-board. In total, as part of the actualization of the scheme, it is planned to provide 350 places for placing advertising structures , — explained the director of the department.
The implementation of the updated scheme will increase Sevastopol’s budget revenues by selling the right to install advertising structures, as their commercial attractiveness will increase, as well as ensure compliance with the requirements of legislation in the field of protection of cultural heritage sites and preserve the external architectural appearance of the existing city development.
