Sevastopol and Minsk will cooperate — signed an agreement
CrimeaPRESS reports:
An agreement was signed between the federal city of Sevastopol and the Minsk City Executive Committee (Republic of Belarus). The document was signed by the governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev and the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev.
This is a historically important moment for us. We have been negotiating with the Hero City Minsk for a long time to sign a cooperation agreement. We are talking about the economic direction — export and import of products, urban economy and the humanitarian sphere — cooperation in the field of culture, education, science, youth policy, patriotic education. Sevastopol and Minsk have a glorious and very similar heroic history: during the war, two cities were almost completely destroyed, and both cities were restored in record time by Leningrad architects. Now our cities are developing rapidly. This is a page of our common history. Next year, Sevastopol turns 240 years old and we will definitely invite a delegation from Minsk to visit us , — quotes the press service of Mikhail Razvozhaev .
The agreement implies promoting the development of industrial cooperation between industrial enterprises, providing conditions for the development and implementation of joint investment projects, the exchange of experience in the field of investment activities, the organization of business missions, the implementation of joint projects in the field of small and medium-sized businesses.
A lot of work has been done in recent days. Yesterday, during the International Economic Cooperation Forum, the guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the products manufactured in Minsk. During the meetings, a large number of agreements were concluded. A number of serious issues were also worked out in various areas of activity. This allows us to say that our relations will develop and strengthen in various areas — industry, agriculture, medicine, education. All meetings were held at a very high level, and today we are looking forward with confidence , — notes Vladimir Kukharev.
