Sevastopol announces the 2nd media forum «Hero of the Future. Youth on the Important»

The Hero City of Sevastopol will host the 2nd media forum «Hero of the Future. Youth on the Important» from August 20 to 25 for children of special military operation participants and servicemen, children of Donbass, border and other regions of Russia. Heroes of Russia, the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, SVO participants and veterans, leading journalists of federal TV channels and heads of media holdings, representatives of ministries and departments, regional administrations, public chambers and the film industry will act as mentors and conduct lectures and seminars for children-participants from 70 cities.

Young media professionals from all over the country will create unique projects that will help tell about the most important language of youth, and will receive skills from leading specialists in our field. The forum program is divided into five days: they are dedicated to mentoring, working with the media, and the film industry— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the ANO «Hero of the Future Time» Nailya Anvarova.

The media forum is aimed at creating a healthy, patriotic youth media space, spiritual and moral education of children and teenagers, and their support. The program will also include round tables, lectures, and a panel discussion of the federal program for training and forming a community of media technologists – the New Media Workshop.

Sevastopol is waiting for the forum participants and will be glad to welcome them. The President calls Sevastopol the patriotic capital — the city itself is imbued with this spirit, so it is very logical that this event is taking place on our land. Here the semantic kernel is formed, which we will then be able to broadcast and convey to the audience. On the basis of Sevastopol, we are forming an educational ecosystem of various activities, our common goal is to create a system for training personnel for work in the media, for work in the new information realitysays the head of the information policy department of Sevastopol, Alexander Nazarov.

The media forum will include a panel discussion of veteran mentors and SVO participants; participants will touch upon the history of Sevastopol by going on a tour of the 35th Coastal Battery museum complex and the Tauric Chersonesos State Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve.

Education in the field of media is an important part of patriotic education. Nowadays children and teenagers get a lot of information from the information space, and what fills our information space and how it influences is a key issue that requires special attention.
