Sevastopol Archive launched the project «Reading the war»
Krympress reports:
The archive of the city of Sevastopol posted on his official website a series of audio recordings created on the basis of genuine documents of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The audio format presents front -line letters, the memoirs of the war participants and other archival materials that allow you to learn more about the events of the Great Patriotic War, plunge into the atmosphere of that time and feel how personal fates were built, military exploits were made and the daily life of the military generation passed.
You can talk about the war in different ways, but the participants in those events themselves do most sincerely and reliably. The genuine memories and letters of the front -line soldiers of the Great Patriotic War today are especially relevant in the context of a special military operation. The emotions and realities of the Great Patriotic War are echoing with modern events, places of battles often coincide. This is the connection of generations that can be felt, the key to understanding what is happening today,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the head of the department of information and the use of documents of the archive of the city Natalya Sitnikov.
Audio recordings are available on the site for link.
