Sevastopol athletes won 18 awards at the Russian Radiosport Championship

The championship of Russia and the All-Russian sports competitions in radiosport were held from April 28 to May 3 in Goryachiy Klyuch. Athletes from the Sevastopol Station of Young Technicians took part in the event. The guys competed in 4 disciplines: 3.5 MHz, 144 MHz, sprint and
radio orientation.
Participants competed in difficult weather conditions. 3 out of 4 days it rained and the guys ran on wet clay, mud. It was quite difficult to move around, it was necessary not only to fulfill the conditions of the task, but also to carefully run so as not to fall— says coach Anna Evstigneeva.
According to the results of the competition, Sevastopol athletes won prizes in the following disciplines:
Discipline 144 MHz:
- 2nd place. Margarita Galyanskaya
- 2nd place. Mikhail Kharlov
- 1 place. Girls team under 13
- 2nd place. Boys team under 13
- 2nd place. Boys team under 17
Discipline 3.5 MHz:
- 1 place. Trofimova Veronika
- 2nd place. Odintsov Alexey
- 3rd place. Trofimov Alexey
- 2nd place. Boys team under 13
- 2nd place. Girls team under 15
- 2nd place. Boys team under 15
- 3rd place. Boys team under 17
Sprint discipline:
- 1 place. Tsuvareva Xenia
- 3rd place. Trofimov Alexey
- 3rd place. Kolesova Alice
- 1 place. Boys team under 17
- 1 place. Girls team under 15
- 3rd place. boys team under 15
According to the results of the competition, 5 Sevastopol residents were included in the Russian national team for 2023. Team coaches Svetlana and Anna Evstigneeva received gratitude from the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation for preparing the winners of the competition.
