Sevastopol athlete Israfil Islamov in the weight category over 92 kg won the gold medal of the International Boxing Competition dedicated to the memory of Russian soldiers who died in Afghanistan and other hot spots.
Israfil had three fights in the ring and won all three , — said the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Competitions are held from 12 to 19 February in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Israfil Islamov is an athlete of the Fiolent boxing club, he trains at boxing school No. 4 under the guidance of trainer Vladimir Semyonov.
