The Tax Service of Sevastopol reported: the nuances of special tax regimes of taxation, ways to reduce penalties, issues of applying the institution of bankruptcy were considered during the next meeting with taxpayers online.
Such events are carried out by the Department within the framework of the implementation of the priority program of the Government «Reform of control and supervisory activities» in the format of public discussions , the press service of the department explained.
Veronika Pozhematkina, Head of the Desk Control Department for Special Tax Regimes, highlighted aspects of the application of existing taxation systems for business representatives and clarified that an experimental tax regime began on July 1 — an automated simplified taxation system. The pilot project is valid for entrepreneurs registered in four regions: Kaluga region, Tatarstan, Moscow and Moscow region. Businessmen from these regions will be able to apply this regime even if they operate in other regions of Russia. Lilia Selezneva, Head of the Department for Ensuring Bankruptcy Procedures, in her speech focused on issues related to bankruptcy. She spoke about the consequences of declaring bankrupt legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and citizens, and also recalled the restrictions that the procedure imposes on further activities.
From April 1 to October 1 this year, Russia has a moratorium on initiating bankruptcy cases at the request of a creditor against all citizens and legal entities in order to help the business community and citizens cope with the current financial situation. She noted that in the special section of the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia «Bankruptcy» you can clarify all aspects of the application of this procedure and find answers to questions on the application of the bankruptcy procedure to restore solvency and pay off debt.
Anna Dorogova, Deputy Head of the Legal Department, during her speech focused on the practical application of mitigating and aggravating circumstances for committing a tax offense. She specified what circumstances would convince the regulatory authorities to reduce the fine.
