On the last Sunday of July, Russia celebrates the Navy Day.
All the Black Sea are the words of gratitude from the whole of Sevastopol. You are protecting the hero city in a combat post, as always it was. The role of the Black Sea Fleet is inscribed in gold letters in the annals of our city. The whole history of the city is inextricably linked with the fleet: they appeared almost simultaneously and go hand in hand through the centuries. Today we congratulate all sailors and their families on the holiday,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Governor of the city of Mikhail Pravozhaev.
The governor especially thanked the military personnel of the 810th Separate Guards Orders of Zhukov and Ushakov Brigade of the Marine Corps, who became famous in the most difficult sections of the fronts of a special military operation in the Kursk region.
Also today, Mikhail Razvozhaev presented awards to military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet. The solemn ceremony was held at the theater named after A.V. Lunacharsky.
Black Sea sailors are worthy successors of glorious traditions. The famous admiral Pavel Stepanovich Nakhimov said that the sailor does not have a difficult or easy path, there is one way — glorious. You follow these covenants. I wish you that after completing any tasks, from any campaigns, you always return to your family and friends. Take care of the loyalty to the sea fraternity, the traditions of the fleet, the traditions of the Black Sea Fleet, — concluded Mikhail Razvozhaev.
