Today in Sevastopol there are worsening weather conditions with rain, snow and frost. The air temperature at night and during the day will be 4-8 degrees below zero.

The city’s public services are in full readiness; Sevavtodor has deployed 25 units of special road equipment that treat the city’s main highways with de-icing mixtures. At the moment, Sevavtodor special equipment is on duty in different areas of Sevastopol to distribute de-icing material and remove snow. If weather conditions worsen, the number of equipment will be increased, monitoring is carried out around the clock. Management companies involved 19 units of equipment, 754 workers, and used more than 488 tons of de-icing mixture— reported the government of Sevastopol.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol warns that in strong winds it is better not to be near the facades of houses, under trees, billboards and power line poles, on piers, rocks and steep banks near the water. Swimming in the sea is dangerous. Pay attention to the safety of children, the elderly and sick people. Do not park cars under trees and do not leave the house unless necessary.

In order to avoid emergency situations, Sevavtodor urges car owners not to use vehicles with “summer” tires, to be extremely attentive and careful, observe the speed limit and distance, and avoid overtaking and changing lanes.
