Sevastopol coast from fuel oil is cleaned by steam

To clean the stones on the seashore from the stains of the fuel oil, employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry used an installation that supplies steam under pressure.

The principle and order of work are as follows. When processing steam, a small fraction of oil products is in water; So that it does not apply to the water area, specialists of the city rescue service establish bonovic fences. Inside the barriers, it contains a sorbent that absorbs traces of petroleum products, which is collected by networks and shovels. After cleaning it can be used again,-the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in Sevastopol said.

At the moment, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies cleaned 75 square meters of the coastline in Sevastopol. The method has shown itself effective, the events will continue.
