Sevastopol companies presented their products at the international housing and communal services exhibition

The first International Exhibition of Housing, Communal Services and Construction Complex UtiliCon was held in St. Petersburg from October 17 to 20. It has become a single platform for the presentation of practices in the field of construction and housing and communal services from all over the country. Sevastopol was represented at the exhibition by four companies: Urban Innovations, Letto, Heat Exchange, and E-Motion. Companies are supported by the “My Business” center as part of the “Small and Medium Enterprises” national project.

Already on the first day of work, the Hero City stand was visited by the First Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation, Alexander Lomakin, who highly appreciated the projects, services and developments of companies in the region.

Participation in exhibitions is one of the opportunities to establish interaction between suppliers, find new clients, and also represent the region on the all-Russian platform. The My Business Center of Sevastopol provides assistance to entrepreneurs participating in exhibitions, namely, it arranges a stand, pays for the rental of exhibition space and the registration fee. Traditionally, Sevastopol small and medium-sized businesses receive their first orders even before the end of the exhibitions — this once again speaks of the quality of goods and services of our entrepreneurs, whom the My Business center helps to develop new markets, — the press service quotes Natalia Borisova, director of the “My Business” center.

The exhibition included a rich business program, presentation and discussion of advanced ideas and solutions in the field of housing and communal services, construction, reconstruction, landscaping and maintenance of territories. Thus, Sevastopol entrepreneurs Vitaly Baron and Sergei Chernikov made presentations on equipment for engineering systems of buildings and structures that is superior to imported analogues, as well as on improving the public spaces of modern cities. Particular attention of visitors was attracted by the “Smart Stop” complexes presented by the Sevastopol company “City Innovations”.

Before the exhibition, we set ourselves the task of meeting manufacturers of other goods, looking at new production technologies, and showing our products to representatives of other regions with the goal of becoming suppliers for them. In Sevastopol, we are implementing the “Smart Stop” project — it was presented to show comfortable pavilions that bring aesthetics to the urban environment, and can also be a functional place for passengers to wait for transport,” notes Konstantin Bolshakov, general director of the Urban Innovations enterprise.

During the four days of the exhibition, our companies established more than 50 business contacts and held 18 negotiations with entrepreneurs from other regions.
