In Sevastopol, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted command post exercises with the involvement of other emergency departments and services. The purpose of the activities is to work out actions to eliminate emergency situations associated with the consequences of a complex of dangerous (adverse) meteorological phenomena and disruptions in the operation of electric power and housing and communal services facilities.
The events took place over two days. The practical stage took place on the morning of September 27 in the area of Stoletovsky Prospekt. During the training, participants routinely performed a number of tasks, including firefighting, dismantling emergency structures, and searching and rescuing victims. Representatives of the canine squad “Vector” helped locate the extras in the microdistrict; then the rescuers transported the mock victims to an ambulance and handed them over to the medical team.— said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the city of Sevastopol.
The exercise involved fire crews from the emergency department, units of the emergency rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Sevastopol Rescue Service, representatives of relevant departments of the city government, doctors, law enforcement agencies, utility services, and the equipment of the Sevelektroavtotrans enterprise named after A. S. Krupoderov was put on alert.
It is emphasized that all involved forces coped with the tasks in full.
