Sevastopol: Employers need to confirm the main type of economic activity until April 15

No later than April 15, employers need to confirm the main type of economic activity (ATM). In Sevastopol, this applies to 11 thousand employers.

The annual procedure for confirming the ATM is necessary to determine the size of the insurance tariff for compulsory social insurance against industrial accidents and occupational diseases.

According to the main type of economic activity, employers establish a professional risk class, based on which employers will calculate and pay contributions for their employees this year. The contribution size varies from 0.2% to 8.5%. The higher the class of professional risk to which the insured’s ATM relates, the higher the amount of the insurance premium. If the employer does not send information about the ATM within the prescribed time, he will be attributed to the type of economic activity, which has the highest class of professional risk in accordance with the codes according to the All -Russian classifier of the types of economic activity specified in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities,-quoted the press service of the manager of the Department of the Social Fund of Russia for Sevastopol Elena Gayvoronskaya.

To confirm the main type of activity, employers need to submit the following documents:

— application for confirmation of the main type of economic activity;

-certificate-confirmation of the main type of economic activity;

— a copy of the explanatory note to the balance sheet for the previous year (except for insurers of small businesses).

The specified documents can be submitted in electronic form through the public services portal, in the personal account of the insured on the SFR website, through the channels of the Sedo and special operators. Information on paper can be brought personally to the client services of the regional department of the SFR or sent by mail. After confirming the ATM and the establishment of the insurance tariff, the employer will receive an appropriate notice.

Organizations registered in 2025 confirm the main activity Not required. Individual entrepreneurs are also released from this, since the ATM for them corresponds to the main type of activity indicated in the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs.
