Sevastopol entered the top 20 regions of Russia with high quality of life

In 2022, Sevastopol took 12th place, and in 2021 – ninth place.

In this year’s top list, Sevastopol is located between the Belgorod region (12th place) and the Chechen Republic (14th place). Krasnodar region is in 15th place. The top three were headed by Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tatarstan.

At the same time, Sevastopol, along with the Chechen Republic, Tyumen region, Yamal and Moscow, has become a leader in the commitment of residents to their region. The authors of the rating believe that this means satisfaction with life in the locality, a willingness to recommend it as a place to live, as well as a desire to connect their family’s life with it for a long time.

The rating was formed based on an analysis of 10 different areas: medical care, housing and infrastructure, education, safety, ecology and others. Each direction was studied according to regional statistics, the results of sociological surveys and indicators collected using geoanalytics tools. The rating results form priorities for development within the framework of normative reference information (RNI) and indicate the best practices for replication.

Sevastopol is the author of six effective, in the opinion of ASI, practices proposed for implementation in other regions: “Health trips to the beach for the elderly and disabled” — now being implemented by the Primorsky Territory and the Republic of Crimea, “Grant support for youth “Easy Start”, “ A universal automated system for electronic interaction between business and government”, “How to make fish products available in 45 fish days”, “How to increase the transparency of control and supervisory activities for business”, “Increasing the potential of the region through the development of active, natural, ecological tourism.”

At the end of 2024, about 400 thousand regional residents took part in the rating.
