Sevastopol enterprises represented the region at the AgroRus exhibition
CrimeaPRESS reports:
From August 30 to September 1, St. Petersburg hosted the largest international agro-industrial exhibition AgroRus in the north-west of Russia. More than 250 companies from 3 countries and 20 regions of Russia took part in it. For the first time, six entrepreneurs of the Hero City presented Sevastopol with a collective exposition. Assistance was provided by the Export Support Center, which is located in the center «My Business» and operates within the framework of the national project «Small and Medium Enterprises».
The participation of our entrepreneurs in an event of this magnitude once again proves the fact of the sustainable development of small and medium-sized businesses in Sevastopol. Thanks to the support of the «My Business» center within the framework of the national project «Small and Medium Enterprises», many Sevastopol residents who are implementing their own business got the opportunity to find new customers and meet future business partners. As a result of the implementation of the national project, the very image of an entrepreneur becomes more popular, and administrative barriers are also eliminated— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy governor of the city Maria Litovko.
At the collective stand, entrepreneurs presented the following products: spices and flavor enhancers, protein bars, a new product for winegrowers — sensors for determining the level of humidity and the general condition of grape bushes on plantations. Of particular interest were natural chocolate bars and freeze-dried fruits, cardboard products for packaging.
The My Business Center helps entrepreneurs look for new clients, new outlets, including those abroad. Participation in exhibitions is a great opportunity to demonstrate or promote your products: here you can meet a huge number of future buyers and consumers who can become business partners. The My Business Center traditionally takes care of organizational issues, provides entrepreneurs with payment of the registration fee, rent of exhibition space and stand construction, helps with presentation materials— notes the director of the center «My Business» Natalia Borisova.
Over the course of three days, Sevastopol residents managed to communicate with more than 300 potential clients, held over 20 meetings with entrepreneurs. They also noted the high interest in the products of buyers from various regions of Russia and foreign visitors.
This year, for the second time, I take part in the exhibition with the assistance of the My Business Center. Thanks to state support, I expect to expand the sales market and find new customers. Our products are of high quality, wide range and can meet the needs of many exporting enterprises. I can boldly say that the exhibition met my expectations: several applications for miscalculation and the formation of commercial offers were received— says entrepreneur Yuri Peftiev, who is engaged in the production of corrugated cardboard packaging.
