Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev congratulated representatives of local businesses on the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship. The event was held in the park named after Anna Akhmatova. Here, at the exhibition-fair, entrepreneurs presented their goods.
Entrepreneurship is, first of all, a social function. People themselves create goods, jobs. This is a huge responsibility. Recent years have not been easy: the pandemic, sanctions pressure. But our business community always demonstrates an active life position: the desire to develop, develop new markets and create new products , — said Mikhail Razvozhaev.
According to him, this year the government of Sevastopol adopted a package of economic measures to support business. Among them are the reduction of rental rates for state property and the postponement of rent payments.
We have approved an extensive overall package with a “weight” of the order of 600 million rubles — these are the measures that are already work to make life easier for our entrepreneurs. In addition, there are various grants for opening and developing a business , Razvozhaev noted.
The governor noted that the quality of life in the city depends on the number of projects implemented by entrepreneurs. In recent years, Sevastopol has consistently ranked among the leaders among the regions of Russia, demonstrating growth in almost all major economic ratings, including the National Investment Climate Rating, ranking today position.
To date, 24 thousands of small and medium-sized businesses are working in Sevastopol.
