Sevastopol examines the seabed and coastal line
Krympress reports:
On behalf of the governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, before the summer season, the entire coastal line is examined in Sevastopol. Specialists of the rescue service of the city and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in Sevastopol check not only the coastline, but also the sea bottom so that the rest of the townspeople and guests of the city be safe.
Preparations for the beach season include not only the inspection of the coast. We pay special attention to the bottom of the bottom — we remove dangerous objects so that bathing is safe for residents and guests of the city. As a rule, we check the coastal zone at a distance of 50 meters from the shore,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the head of the rescue service Anatoly Popov.
Today, divers checked the bottom on the Nakhimovets beach in the village of Orlovka.
We agreed on a schedule for inspections with the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies and a specialized detachment of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies in the city of Sevastopol. If the beach is large, like today — about 400 meters — we work together. Official beaches approved by government decree mainly checks a specialized detachment, and the rescue service is engaged in unformed, “wild” beaches— notes Anatoly Popov.
During the inspection, dangerous items were not found, but the work continues. In the near future, rescuers will check the other sections of the coast so that by the beginning of the season, all the beaches of Sevastopol are ready to receive vacationers.
