Sevastopol exporters can get a microloan up to 5 million rubles

CrimeaPRESS reports:

For the first time, a financial product was launched in Sevastopol to support exporters. They can get a microloan of up to 5 million rubles. Support is provided by the non-profit organization «Microcredit Company Fund for Microfinancing of Small and Medium Business Entities in the City of Sevastopol» within the framework of the national project «Small and Medium Business».

The program is designed for those who have export potential and plan to carry out export deliveries, expand sales volumes and the geography of export deliveries. We understand that entrepreneurs identified a lack of working capital as a significant factor hindering the production of export products, so a soft lending program was developed, where the rate will be reduced if the borrower has concluded an export contract— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Deputy Governor Maria Litovko.

Thus, when applying for a microloan, the annual interest rate can be reduced to 1% if the borrower confirms the fact of shipment of the first batch of products for export in the amount of at least 120 thousand US dollars within a year after the conclusion of the contract.

If the borrower fails to comply with the terms of reduction on the 367th calendar day after the conclusion of the agreement, the annual interest rate is set equal to the key rate of the Bank of Russia on the date of conclusion of the agreement (until the end of the term of the microloan agreement).

You can use the loan for one or more purposes:

  • replenishment of working capital;
  • acquisition, repair, modernization of fixed assets;
  • mastering the production of new types of products (works, services), introduction of new technologies;
  • acquisition, construction, overhaul or reconstruction of non-residential premises used for business activities.

For the first time in the region, a financial product is being launched to support exporters. We express confidence that this will affect the growth of supported exports in Sevastopol. In addition, the My Business Center operates an Export Support Center, which offers other opportunities for entering international markets — the search for a foreign partner, participation in exhibitions, business missions. In 2022, the CPE provided services to 287 entrepreneurs— said the director of the center «My Business» Natalia Borisova.

The microcredit company fund for microfinance of small and medium-sized businesses is located in the My Business center at 42B Oktyabrskoy Revolutsii Avenue, building 6.
