Sevastopol families can receive a medal «For Love and Loyalty». What do you need for an award?

The medal «For Love and Fidelity» was established by the organizing committee of the federal holiday «Day of Family, Love and Fidelity». It is awarded annually to married couples who have been married for 25 years or more, who set an example of the strength of family foundations, who raised their children as worthy members of society. In Sevastopol, since 2014, 573 families have already received such a medal. This year, 58 Sevastopol families applied for medals, and all of them received awards.

Applications for delivery can be submitted in person at the district departments of social protection, through legal representatives (relatives), as well as by e-mail. The application must be accompanied by copies of the spouses’ passports, a marriage certificate and fill out a questionnaire on family history. A questionnaire to be filled out will be issued at the department, you also need to have original documents with you — in case of applying in person. The maximum number of awarded families in the region is determined by the organizing committee of the public holiday «Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in the Russian Federation». The grounds for refusal to be included in the list of married couples for honoring are:

— exceeding the quota of the organizing committee (applicants who took a place in the rating below the established number);

— application for refusal to participate in the selection;

— awarding the medal «For Love and Loyalty» in previous years.
