Sevastopol fell in the ranking for the quality of public transport

In the ranking of Russian cities by the quality of public transport for 2023, compiled by the Simetra group team, Sevastopol took 38th place, dropping 11 places compared to the previous year.
Quality of transport service, notes «Sevastopol newspaper», was assessed according to five groups of indicators, on the basis of which the overall rating of cities was determined: physical accessibility, affordability, functionality of the transport network, comfort and convenience, safety and sustainable development. Experts analyzed 102 cities—18 more than last year. The megacities of Moscow and St. Petersburg were considered “out of competition”.
For each quality, the maximum possible score was 100 points. The top 5 leaders included Perm, Novokuznetsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan.
Sevastopol, with a population of 558 people, scored 56.7 points and was in 38th place. A year earlier, the city ranked 27th. 510 thousand people lived in it. According to four out of five groups of indicators, Sevastopol worsened its position. The only group where it was possible to improve the indicators from 46 to 55 points was affordability.
Krasnodar was in 33rd place in the ranking, Rostov-on-Don was in 34th place, Simferopol was in 44th place.
