Sevastopol football team is the first in the Leather Ball competition

Sevastopol football players took first place in the anniversary super final of the All-Russian Leather Ball competition in Smolensk. Previously, our athletes won the final stage of the “Leather Ball” in the Nizhny Novgorod region, which gave the team the right to participate in the super final. The guys played at the stadium of the Smolensk State University of Sports, where the 12 best children’s teams competed in three age groups: 2009-2010, 2011-2012 and 2013-2014 born.

Our Hero City was represented in the All-Russian Super Final among youth born in 2009-2010 by the football team of Sports School No. 3 under the leadership of coach-teacher Alexander Sinelnikov. The guys won on the field against the strongest teams in Russia. Individual awards went to:

• best defender — Askar Musakhanov;
• best forward — Andrey Eremenko;
• the best player is Maxim Borodich.
