Sevastopol General Plan will help save the Baydar valley
Krympress reports:
The preservation of the territory of the Baydar Valley is one of the tasks of the city’s general plan, experts say. A city -forming document is a guarantor of the inviolability of a unique territory.
I.O. Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Maxim Zhukalov during a live broadcast in the official community of the Sevastopol government on the VKontakte social network said that only organic farming will be allowed in the Baidar Valley, and an increase in residential development is not supposed.
Territories that are located in the first belt of the sanitary protection of the Chernorechensky reservoir are assigned to the forest zone (the most strict according to the use regime). And those lands that are decomposed between the employees of the former state farm are laid down in the draft master plan for the possibility of the implementation of organic farming. The decision was developed together with Severoderodnadzor,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Maxim Zhukalov.
The Baidar Valley becomes a territory where it is allowed to use exclusively organic fertilizers. There is a complete ban on the use of pesticides, insecticides and other chemicals.
Practice is not new, but humane and important for the protection of ecology. The city already has enterprises that are included in the register of organizations producing organic farming products— emphasizes the acting Deputy Governor.
