Sevastopol hosted a review of forces and means ensuring safety at water bodies

In Sevastopol, a review of the operating equipment and emergency equipment was held as part of the readiness check of the territorial subsystem of the RSChS. The presented forces and means were evaluated by the director of the public security department, Mikhail Savchin, together with representatives of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the city of Sevastopol and the Rescue Service of Sevastopol. The participants of the event checked the availability and serviceability of navigation equipment, life-saving equipment involved in rescuing people on the waters and patrolling water areas. The review was held on the territory of the berth of the search and rescue unit «Rescue Service of Sevastopol».
The safety of residents and guests of Sevastopol at water bodies every day will be ensured by 52 personnel and 28 pieces of equipment. The forces and means of the Sevastopol territorial subsystem of the RSChS are ready for actions as intended— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Savchin.
The All-Russian Society for Water Rescue, the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels, the All-Russian Student Rescue Corps, the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for Sevastopol, the Rescue Service of Sevastopol and the special squad of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took part in the review.
