Sevastopol hosted the All-Russian Job Fair “Work in Russia. Opportunity time.» The event was attended by Deputy Governor Alexander Kulagin and Director of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Elena Sulyagina.
Today, the regional stage of the All-Russian Employment Fair has started all over the country. Naturally, Sevastopol was no exception. The format of the fair is a complex of modern platforms, where job seekers took advantage of the opportunity to find a job, and companies — employees in real time— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Alexander Kulagin.
Employment service specialists conducted training seminars, master classes and trainings for job seekers on job search and career building, expanding professional competencies and developing flexible skills when looking for vacancies.
The fair is an open large-scale event attended by unemployed citizens looking for work and students. The participants of the fair were enterprises of priority sectors of the economy and the agro-industrial complex, enterprises that have a significant need for personnel, educational organizations of higher and secondary specialized education that train specialists in the professions most in demand in the region— said Elena Sulyagina.
The regional stage of the fair was held at three venues: the Center for Employment, Sevastopol State University and the Sevastopol Institute of Economics and Humanities (branch) of the Crimean Federal University named after V. I. Vernadsky.
More than 30 enterprises of the city presented about 600 vacancies at the fair. Among the employers are Sevteploenergo, Sevelektroavtotrans im. A. S. Krupoderova, Balaklava Mine Administration. A. M. Gorky, State Unitary Enterprise «Sevastopolgaz» and others. Career guidance platforms for educational organizations worked at the fair — they talked about how you can improve your skills or undergo retraining in a profession that is in demand.
According to the Department of Labor and Social Protection, more than 1,100 people attended the fair.
The second stage of the All-Russian Employment Fair — federal — is scheduled for June. Especially for him, a separate page of the Jobs in Russia portal will be created, where applicants will be able to get acquainted with the best offers of employers from all regions presented at the fair.
