From September 1, 2025, new requirements for deployment facilities in Russia come into force. The key innovation is the mandatory registration of all accommodation funds in the Unified Federal Register of tourist facilities and the passage of the classification procedure. The work of placement objects without registration will be considered illegal. These changes are aimed at improving the quality of services provided and protecting consumer rights in the field of tourism and hospitality.
Hotels and other accommodation facilities that have not passed the classification will not be able to legally provide services. We understand that the process may seem difficult, so we are ready to provide support and consultations at each stage,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the sector as part of the department of development of tourist resources and information support Anastasia Marochkin.
Main changes:
— All placement objects should be included in the federal register.
— To confirm the category, it is necessary to attract experts. The level of service must comply with the declared stars.
— It is forbidden to post information about unregistered facilities. The sites are required to block cards that do not correspond to this registry.
— Banks for rent, advertising and promotion of placement services for objects that have not passed the classification are established.
The classification process includes two stages:
-The hotelier is independently recorded in the Rosakcreditation system and enters information about the object on the checklist using the “Mobile Inspector” application for photofixation.
— Hotels and sanatoriums undergo the second stage of classification (assigning a category from one to five stars) at will.
The tourism department recommends that the owners and heads of Sevastopol accepting the necessary measures for registration and classification in order to avoid negative consequences and ensure compliance with the requirements of the legislation.
To date, 80 Sevastopol hotels are registered in the Unified Federal Register of Accreditation.
