The Government of Sevastopol notes: in the summer, the organization of public transport has undergone some changes. So:
Due to the increase in passenger traffic in the summer period, the number of flights and the operating time of public transport in Sevastopol have been increased. Currently, 256 buses, 25 trolleybuses, 6 boats and 1 ferry are involved in passenger transportation, — the press service of the Government quotes Sevastopol Director of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Pavel Ieno.
From June 1, the operating hours of certain trolleybus and bus routes of the city have been extended — transportation is carried out until : and up to 02: respectively.
On June 6, a seasonal municipal route began operating at an unregulated tariff between the Uchkuevka beach and Zakharov Square. Also, on behalf of the governor, a new free route No. 80 “st. Admiral Makarov — Omega Beach.
The director of the relevant department noted that most of the vehicles involved in transportation are equipped with an air conditioning system.
Before the start of the summer season, all the rolling stock was checked, at 90% the air conditioning system works, there are episodic breakdowns that we promptly fix. Also, with the help of the Incident Management system, the department constantly monitors the receipt of complaints about the operation of climate systems in transport , Pavel Ieno notes.
All issues on which comments are received from residents of the city are promptly resolved. The serviceability of climate systems in buses and trolleybuses is monitored daily by the directorate for the development of road transport infrastructure.
The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, instructed the Regional Management Center to conduct daily monitoring of requests for air conditioning in public transport and prepare a weekly report for operational meetings.
The director of the department of transport and development of road transport infrastructure also spoke about intercity passenger transportation.
So, rail transportation in long-distance trains is carried out by the Grand Service Express company. Routes — «Sevastopol — Moscow», «Sevastopol — St. Petersburg» and additional «Sevastopol — Murmansk», which is available from 02 May. Due to the temporary suspension of the Simferopol International Airport, passenger trains «Sevastopol — Moscow», and «Sevastopol — St. Petersburg» run with the maximum possible composition — 01 cars.
Transportation of the population by rail on suburban routes is carried out by the Southern Suburban Passenger Company in accordance with the established schedule. Since June 1, the composition of electric trains has been increased to six cars, which is 624 places.
Bus passenger transportation is carried out on 130 adjacent interregional regular transportation routes between Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as on a number of interregional regular transportation routes between Sevastopol and mainland Russia.
