Sevastopol-in the top ten leaders regions on the number of executed annual policies of the RSA rating

Record dynamics of registration of “Auto -citizens” policies is observed in the Caucasian regions that are “traditionally” considered the most problematic and highly risk in motor insurance. According to the RSA, in the first six months of this year in the Republic of Dagestan 207.5 thousand policies were acquired, the increase in demand for policies in the region amounted to 36.2%. In the Chechen Republic, 62.2 thousand policies of auto -citizen were issued, the dynamics of demand amounted to 35.6%. In the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, 52.6 thousand CTP policies were sold for the first half of the current year, which was 31.1% of the last indicators last year. The dynamics of the growth of CTP agreements in the Republic of Ingushetia amounted to 19.7%, 13.1 thousand contracts were issued there. In the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, 75.1 thousand OSAGO policies were acquired, the growth to last year’s indicators amounted to 13%.

The ten-leading regions in the number of processed annual policies of the RSA rating also included the Republic of Kalmykia (+11.7%), the Trans-Baikal Territory (+10.4%), Sevastopol (+10.2%), the Altai Republic (+6.1%) and Stavropol Territory (+5.8%). In general, as noted in the RSA, the growth of the number of concluded agreements on annual insurance policies is observed in all regions of Russia.

As noted in the Union, such a dynamics may indicate a decrease in fraudulent practices or to improve the situation in compliance with traffic rules in the designated regions.

The growth trend of the number of compiled OSAGO agreements, which has developed in the first half of this year, in the future can positively affect road safety, as well as to reduce fraudulent practices in the regions where the situation with them is especially acute, — argues Evgeny Ufimtsev, the head of the RSA.

Today in Russia, according to the RSA, 7-10% of drivers travel on roads without an insurance policy. The IRS recall that the presence of an insurance policy allows you to increase the level of responsibility on the road, and also guarantees compensation for damage to the victims during an accident.

According to the results of the study of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, conducted in March 2025, two -thirds (65.5%) of Russians negatively relate to drivers who travel without an insurance policy. Moreover, 57.8% spoke out for the automatic imposition of fines through road chambers for the lack of insurance.
