Within the framework of the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the ceremony of signing an agreement between the Government of Sevastopol and SeaMaker Marine Engineering Technopolis LLC took place. The investment agreement was signed for the joint implementation of an investment project for the construction of a multifunctional marine terminal in Sevastopol. The document was signed by Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev and Igor Rudetsky, representative of Marine Engineering Technopolis SeaMaker LLC.
Systematic work is underway in Sevastopol to create a favorable investment climate. Our task is to create all conditions for large investors to develop their projects in the city. The conclusion of the agreement is another important step towards development in this direction. The project provides for the creation of a marine terminal, which includes two complexes — for the transshipment of food plant cargo and for the transshipment of container, container-refrigerated cargo. Investments in the economy of Sevastopol due to the implementation of the project will amount to more than 1.5 billion rubles.
The functionality of the terminal makes it a very important infrastructure facility for the city. One of the main advantages is that the new marine terminal contributes to the development of exports and imports in Sevastopol, which will improve the conditions for the development of entrepreneurship. This project will also create new jobs for local residents, which will increase the living standards of the population and the economic stability of the region as a whole,” said Igor Rudetsky, General Director of SeaMaker Marine Engineering Technopolis LLC.
The marine transshipment terminal, by the nature of its operating activities, provides for a specialized marine complex that provides reception, storage, high-quality support, shipment of food plant and container, container-refrigerator cargo to adjacent modes of transport.
