Sevastopol intends to pay off leasing debt for trolleybuses and buses
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At a meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, they discussed the allocation of additional funding to the city to pay off the leasing debt of the State Unitary Enterprise Sevelektroavtotrans for trolleybuses and buses.
Under my predecessor, leasing obligations were assumed for the purchase of public transport for very large sums and were very difficult for the budget of Sevastopol. Therefore, I turned to the President, and on his instructions, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation allocated funds for additional assistance in several stages. We are closing the main payment thanks to the assistance of 950 million rubles. In fact, we are buying back our trolleybuses and buses from the state transport leasing company, which were then purchased, and the obligations for them were taken on the city budget— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the city.
Director of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure Stanislav Tamataev noted that the amount of debt now amounts to 1 billion rubles. In addition to the 950 million allocated by the Ministry of Finance, another 50 million will be repaid from the funds of the Sevelektroavtotrans enterprise.
