Sevastopol is among the leaders in state-supported lending
CrimeaPRESS reports:
From 2020 to 2022, the number of small and medium-sized enterprises in Russia that received state-supported loans more than tripled. In many ways, this became possible thanks to the national project «Small and Medium Enterprises». This was announced by the General Director of the SME Corporation Alexander Isaevich.
As part of the fine-tuning of support measures, it was important to maintain volumes and ensure an increase in the number of recipients. If in 2020 42,000 entrepreneurs received loans with state support, then last year — more than 130,000. The work on standardization of financial measures of the national SME project made it possible to cover entrepreneurs throughout the country— Alexander Isaevich emphasized.
According to him, the results are especially noticeable in the Caucasus, the Far East, the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. In these regions, state-supported lending grew by more than a quarter. Also, a large increase in support is provided to the real sector of the economy.
In Sevastopol, there are several tools for attracting debt financing with state support. Thus, the Guarantee Fund acts as a guarantor and assumes part of the obligations. In 2022 alone, about 50 enterprises applied for support and were able, with the guarantee of the fund, to attract a total of almost 700 million rubles to their business. The Fund has committed itself to the timely repayment of borrowed funds in the amount of 280 million rubles— said Denis Profatilov, director of the city’s Department of Economic Development.
Another tool is loans from the Microfinance Fund of Sevastopol. Last year, the Microfinance Fund issued 193 microloans for a total of 530 million rubles at a preferential interest rate.
Recall that support for business is provided within the framework of the national project «Small and Medium Enterprises», the implementation of which is supervised by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov.
