Sevastopol is among the regions that have achieved the best results of the national project “Safe and Quality Roads”

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin held a meeting with the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov, representatives of ministries and relevant departments. During the meeting, the socio-economic development of the regions in the coming years was discussed. One of the key areas of work in this area is road construction. According to Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, road repairs in the city are progressing at an accelerated pace; since the beginning of the year, work has already been completed at 45 sites.

Last year, Sevastopol was among the regions of Russia that achieved the best results of the national project “Safe and Quality Roads”; our region was awarded a symbolic golden road roller. This year we plan to repair more than 120 roads with a total length of over 55 km, as well as 3 bridges. Thanks to the fact that we carried out contracting last year, work on 45 sites has already been completed. This year we must achieve the target share of the road network of urban agglomerations that is in standard condition in the amount of 85%; Today we have already reached 83.80% and are exceeding plans for other indicators. I thank Marat Shakirzyanovich for his attention to Sevastopol and personal control of important projects for the city– quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The head of the city also reported to Marat Khusnullin on the progress of work under the state program for this year.

We must complete and put into operation 25 capital construction projects. Let’s go at a good pace — concluded the governor of Sevastopol.

In turn, the Deputy Prime Minister noted the high level of achievement of the state program for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol show good results of comprehensive work. In 2023, the regions reached a high level of achievement of the state program of socio-economic development, which amounted to 99%, cash execution is also at a high level. As a result of the implementation of the state program last year, all indicators were achieved, including the key ones — bringing the road network of urban agglomerations to a standard state, creating new places in schools and kindergartens, so that children could receive a quality education as comfortably as possible. I ask my colleagues to work more carefully to improve the quality of planning for the implementation of state program projects and to keep existing issues under control, — says Marat Khusnullin.

The meeting also discussed issues related to development plans until 2030 and the forecast until 2036.

In his Address, the President outlined a number of new national projects and tasks. Therefore, it is now important to integrate the existing socio-economic development program with the priorities and new tasks that we have, including the construction of housing, roads, educational and health care facilities, the development of transport and utility infrastructurenotes the Deputy Prime Minister.

In addition to the construction, reconstruction and repair of roads in Sevastopol and Crimea, the meeting participants discussed the formation of a support network in Sevastopol, issues of sewage treatment facilities, as well as a preferential lending program for participants in the free economic zone — it has been operating in Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea since 2022.
