Sevastopol is considering a case on fraud during the construction of an apartment building
Krympress reports:
The prosecutor’s office of the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol approved the indictment and sent a criminal case against a 53-year-old local resident.
He is accused under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud on an especially large scale).
According to investigators, the man led the unauthorized construction of a three-story apartment building on four adjacent land plots in the Kaspian pr-in Sevastopol. Under the pretext of purchasing apartments in this house, he attracted the money of citizens. At the same time, in violation of the legislation on the shared construction of apartment buildings, the accused concluded with the victims of contracts for the sale of property rights, gifts and “preliminary agreements”, significantly knowing that he would not actually be able to provide them with property.
The land plots on which construction were carried out are intended for individual residential development. The construction of apartment housing on them is prohibited, commissioning the house and registration of ownership of individual apartments in it are impossible.
Thus, from December 2016 to April 2023, he stole almost 7 million rubles from four deceived residents of Sevastopol.
The investigation was carried out by the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Nakhimovsky district of the city of Sevastopol.
