Sevastopol is dealing with illegal trade

The Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market continues to fight illegal trade, which not only violates the norms of legislation, but also poses a serious threat to the health of citizens. Since the beginning of this year, about 500 unauthorized trade objects have already been dismantled, 300 protocols have been drawn up.

As noted by the head of the consumer market of the Department of Ksenia Kazanjiev, persons organizing trade without permits were previously repeatedly warned of violation of the law. At the same time, documents confirming the right to place non -stationary trading facilities were not granted to the department.

It is impossible to defeat unauthorized trade without direct participation and residents of the city. The goods on the streets will be sold while the townspeople will buy it. Only joint efforts will be put in order on the streets of the city, -quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Ksenia Kazanjiev.

It is important to understand that products sold outside the installed control points do not go through the mandatory veterinary and sanitary control. The purchase of products in the summer is especially dangerous, when high temperatures contribute to the rapid reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms. Inappropriate storage conditions are the main threat to the safety of such products.

Dairy products, meat, fish and even vegetables and fruits can cause food poisoning or infectious diseases.

To support bona fide producers, the city provides for preferential conditions: entrepreneurs who confirm their status can get a place to accommodate a non -stationary trading facility without bidding and with a 50%discount. The number of fairs has also been significantly increased — more than 20 events have been held since the beginning of the year.

In the sleeping areas of the city, six permanent fair sites work, where mobile laboratories of veterinary and sanitary examination are operating and research on the safety of products of both animal and plant origin is conducted.
