Sevastopol is preparing for the school year
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the staff meeting of the Government of Sevastopol chaired by Mikhail Razvozhaev, the readiness of schools and kindergartens for the new academic year was discussed. The inspection of educational institutions in the city began at the end of July.
Traditionally, we check all educational organizations regardless of their form of ownership and departmental affiliation. We have created 6 acceptance commissions, which include representatives of executive authorities, federal authorities, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the deputy corps, representatives of the parent community, representatives of the public council under the Department of Education, – the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Department of Education and Science, Maxim Krivonos.
Inspection of educational institutions is carried out on the basis of methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The methodological recommendations are uniform for the entire country. The main areas that are emphasized are the issue of ensuring fire safety, that is, the availability of primary fire extinguishing equipment, the operation of the automatic alarm system, the availability of instructions on actions in the event of a fire, and the preparation of a training schedule. And the state of anti-terrorist protection of facilities, this is the readiness of private security companies to serve at facilities, and the functioning of emergency call buttons for the police. I note that all our organizations are guarded by licensed security companies.— emphasizes Maxim Krivonos.
The Department of Education and the Department of Public Safety also check the readiness of shelters and their compliance with standards. Thus, in some institutions, the movement patterns to shelters are additionally delineated so that children can quickly and not in a single stream go down.
Maksim Krivonos noted that in a number of institutions it is necessary to carry out targeted re-work to bring the territory into order.
For example, in rural schools, the grass needs to be mown again. The grass has already been mown, but since it grows quite abundantly, we note during the inspection that it needs to be mown again by the 20th-25thsaid the director of the Department of Education and Science, Maxim Krivonos.
In addition, the staff meeting discussed the planned indicators for the admissions campaign to schools, kindergartens and secondary vocational education institutions.
As of today, 4,866 children have already been enrolled in the first grade. Enrollment will continue until September 5. If we look at the statistics of previous years, about a thousand more first-graders may be added by that time. In total, 51,540 students have been enrolled in schools, and 20,780 in kindergartens. As of today, 10,260 applications have already been submitted to secondary vocational education institutions. Both federal and regional quotas apply to children of SVO participants. According to the regional quota, children of special operation participants will be able to take approximately 10% of all budget places in colleges, – says Maxim Krivonos.
As of today, the commissions have checked 57 kindergartens, 53 schools and 18 institutions of additional education. In total, 163 institutions will be checked in Sevastopol before the school year, this is more than 200 addresses. Another seven educational institutions in the city are undergoing major repairs and will be checked by the commission separately before being put into operation.
Let us recall that the inspection of the readiness of educational institutions must be completed on August 16. Specific comments on the facilities must be addressed by August 25.
