Sevastopol is undergoing improvement work within the framework of the national project

Every year, thanks to the project «Formation of a comfortable urban environment» of the national project «Housing and urban environment», initiated by President Vladimir Putin, more and more public spaces are being improved in Sevastopol. In total, 10 territories, for which residents voted last year, will be improved this year. Thus, in the park of the 50th anniversary of October in the village of Khmelnitskoye, work is already underway to improve the territory.

As part of the improvement, sidewalks with artificial paving stone will be installed, quiet and passive recreation areas and sports areas will be created. They will also install fences around the perimeter of the park, install street furniture, small architectural forms and a stage. The total volume of work completed is 48%— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the press secretary of the Department of Urban Economy Polina Grigorova.

In addition, sanitary pruning of green spaces and removal of dried trees and shrubs will be carried out.

Also currently underway is landscaping the territory in the village of Rodnoe along Tsentralnaya Street, between houses No. 31 and 35.

As part of the implementation of the project «Formation of a comfortable urban environment» in the Balaklava district, including villages, a large number of objects are being built. Specifically, in the village of Rodnoe, comprehensive improvement is planned. This territory became one of the winners last year, for which residents gave the most votes. It is important that the result of the work done is comfortable for residents. This is essentially the center of the village, next to the House of Culture, a play area. It was decided to separate the areas of quiet and active recreation for children and adultsnotes Legislative Assembly deputy Pavel Kharlamov.

Let us recall that during last year’s vote, Sevastopol residents chose 10 public spaces that will be improved in 2024:

• Square near the Central Market on Odesskaya Street, 3;
• Green area between buildings No. 26 and 32 on Oktyabrskoy Revolyutsii Avenue;
• The square near the memorial to the fallen villagers on Sofya Perovskaya Street, 10A in the village of Lyubimovka;
• Green area in the area of ​​house No. 5A on Sumskaya Street in the village of Khmelnitsky;
• The area between houses No. 31 and 35 on Tsentralnaya Street in the village of Rodnoye;
• Green area in the area of ​​house No. 2 on Yubileynaya Street in the village of Frontovoye;
• The area around house No. 7 on Shevkoplyasa Street in Inkerman;
• The park around the pond «Zelenukha» on Ivan Pakhomov Street in the village of Orlinoe;
• Public area near the sports ground in the area of ​​house No. 24 on Vetvistaya Street in the village of Solnechny;
• The area near the House of Culture in the village of Vishnevoe.
